Privacy Statement

At Trusted Touch we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure online experience. You can visit most of our site without giving us any information about yourself, but sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those situations.

Collecting Your Personal Information

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are asked to register before entering a contest, ordering e-mail newsletters, joining a limited-access premium site, or when purchasing and registering products. Personal information collected is often limited to email address, language, country or location, but may include other information when needed to provide a service you requested.

Use of Your Personal Information

We use your personal information for five primary purposes:  to make the site easier for you to use by not making you enter your personal information more than once, to help you quickly find software, services or information, to help us create and deliver content most relevant to you and to alert you to product upgrades, special offers, updated information and other new services from Trusted Touch.  We will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Trusted Touch or the site; (b) protect and defend our rights or property, and, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Trusted Touch, its web sites, or the public.

Control of Your Personal Information

When you register, or otherwise give us personal information, Trusted Touch will not share that information with third parties without your permission, other than for the limited exceptions already listed. It will only be used for the purposes stated above.

Security of Your Personal Information

Trusted Touch strictly protects the security of your personal information and honours your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

The following terms and conditions (‘the Conditions’) are the terms under which Trusted Touch (hereafter referred to as "TT") offers and sells to the buyer (‘the Buyer’) and the Conditions supersede all other terms and conditions relating to the subject matter of these Conditions. Any sale agreement (‘the Agreement’) between CPI and the Buyer shall be governed by these Conditions. Any variation to this clause must be by prior agreement in writing to CPI by email.

The description and quantity of the Services (‘the Services’) shall be as set out on the TT website (‘the Website’). The service (‘the Service’) shall be the specific combination of Services in the Agreement between TT and the Buyer.

Every effort has been made to ensure that the Services are described as accurately as possible. TT will make every effort to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate and up to date. However, we disclaim all liabilities resulting from the following: i) technical problems resulting in errors (including pricing errors) or interruptions of the website, due to server upgrades or otherwise. In the unlikely event that a product's correct price is higher than that shown, we will contact you to see if you still wish to proceed with the order, ii) incompatibility of the website with your hardware, software or telecommunication links, iii) failure of the website to meet your requirements.

The price (‘the Price’) is quoted in pounds sterling. The Price for the Services may change from time to time, without prior notice. In the event of a change in the Price, the price contracted with the Buyer in the Agreement will be maintained, except under exceptional circumstances, when notification of the change will be provided to the Buyer a minimum of one month in advance. Changes to fees levied on the Company by external Examining or Awarding Bodies (for example, but not limited to, individual Registration or Accreditation Fees) are not under the reasonable control of TT and these changes will be passed on directly to the Buyer. Notification of any changes will be provided to the Buyer in advance in writing.

The Service shall not commence until the total payment is received and shall commence within two weeks of the receipt of the payment. TT accepts payment by Paypal and Stripe.

TT shall not refund payments made for the Service in the event of: i) the Buyer being dissatisfied or perceiving that the Service is not suitable for the Buyer’s requirements, ii) the Buyer failing to fulfil their commitment to the Service (for example, but not limited to, failure to submit work for marking or to answer or respond regularly to communication from the tutor) iii) the Buyer failing to cancel recurring payments that are under the Buyer’s control (for example, but not limited to, recurring Standing Orders) or iv) termination of the Service by TT having judged that there are reasonable grounds for termination.  Refunds may be permitted, at TT's discretion, if the Buyer is able to demonstrate a failure of TT to deliver the Service as detailed in the Agreement.  Our refund policy is legally binding and forms part of the Terms and Conditions  you accepted when you enrolled. It does not affect your statutory rights.

Termination of the Service by CPI

The Buyer is liable for any losses resulting from termination of the service by TT as a result of evidence of plagiarism in any work submitted by the Buyer that is presented as original work. Judgement that there are reasonable grounds for termination of the Service is entirely at the discretion of TT.

TT shall not be held liable in any way for default, loss of trade or profit occurring to the customer in the event of delivery of the Service being frustrated or delayed for any reason including but not limited to: fire, flood, accidents, riots, lockouts, trade disputes, acts or restraints of governments, the imposing of restrictions on exploration or from other causes not within reasonable control of the Company. The maximum liability of TT to the Buyer shall not exceed the cost of the goods supplied. In no event shall TT be liable to the Buyer for incidental, indirect, consequential or special damages.

Intellectual Property Rights

TT is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights on our site and in our courses, and in the material published on them.  Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our sites for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others to content posted on our sites. You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our sites must always be acknowledged.  You must not use any part of the content on our sites for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. If you print off, copy or download any part of our sites in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our sites will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

TT reserves the right to withhold the Service in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions if for any other reason which at the discretion of the Company warrants such action. If any term or provision of the Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any Court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions of the Conditions shall continue in full force and effect as if the Conditions had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated. The headings in the Conditions are for ease of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of any of the Conditions. Each of the parties agrees that save in respect of statements made fraudulently, it shall have no remedy in respect of any untrue statement upon which it relied in entering the Agreement and that its only remedies shall be for breach of contract. Governing Law and Jurisdiction The Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. Rights of the Consumer Nothing in these Conditions shall affect the statutory rights of a consumer.
